Summary

A long stretch of aging fence was no longer providing the privacy or curb appeal the homeowner wanted. We were asked to remove the old panels and install a new cedar privacy fence with a sturdy walk gate.

The Work

Removed and hauled off the existing fence panels
Installed 104 feet of 6' tall kiln-dried Selkirk cedar pickets with dog ear tops on existing steel posts
Used Simpson brackets and dome caps for secure panel mounting
Added a 3'–4' single walk gate with steel bracing, quality hardware, and dual-sided locking latch

The Outcome

The property now has a fresh, uniform cedar privacy fence that stands strong against wind and weather. The upgraded walk gate makes access easy while keeping the yard secure. The new look improves both privacy and appearance.
