Summary

A homeowner in Oklahoma City needed to replace an aging fence that was no longer providing the privacy or curb appeal they wanted. They wanted a solution that would look great and stand up to the weather.

The Work

Removed and hauled off the old fence to clear the property
Installed 200 feet of 6' tall, 1x4 kiln-dried Selkirk Cedar dog ear pickets on sturdy 2x4 rails
Used existing steel posts, adding Simpson brackets and dome caps for a secure fit
Made sure all panels were level and lines stayed clean throughout the yard

The Outcome

The yard is now framed by a strong, attractive cedar fence that blends well with the home's style. The upgraded steel posts offer extra stability, so this fence is built to last. The new look adds both privacy and a finished feel to the backyard, giving the homeowner peace of mind and an inviting space.
